Sakeji School is a primary level Christian boarding school. While its primary purpose is to provide an education for children of missionaries living in Zambia and neighbouring countries, Zambian and expatriate children are also accepted. Sakeji School is a ministry associated with assemblies of Christans gathering to the Name of the Lord Jesus, (sometimes known as Christan brethren), and is staffed by missionaries commended to this work by their home assemblies. Facilities and development are dependent on gifts from churches and individuals overseas. We follow Western patterns of education using materials that we feel are best suited to meet the needs of the children we aim to serve.
The aim of the school is to educate, train and care for the students in ways which honour God and follow Christian patterns of learning and living. Our desire is base the education at Sakeji on the Bible so that the children learn about God and establish a lasting personal relationship with him. Our objective is to make education a positive experience so that our students will know the joy of learning and living in God’s world. We aim to provide a secure and loving home environment and we seek to help the children take their place in a community as caring, confident and responsible citizens.
